Googong’s first school will open for the 2015 school year.
Your Neighbourhood
There will eventually be five neighbourhoods at Googong, each based around a village centre with retail and community facilities and each with access to extensive parkland.
Googong North, the first neighbourhood to take shape, will nestle in a natural bowl in the landscape. Entry will be from Googong Dam Road. Our first Display Village will also be built in this area.
The first lots available at Googong will be within Stages 1 and 2 and range from around 350m2 to 1050m2 (average 579m2), to suit a range of housing types. There will be Design Guidelines in place to ensure that, as the neighbourhood grows, the quality of housing and the pleasing aspects of the streetscapes are retained.
You will feel like part of a community right from the start. A café, general store and community clubhouse will be established before you move in. Transport links to Canberra and Queanbeyan will also be operating from the start.
