About Googong
It’s not every day that a whole new town is created. Googong is the result of ten years of studies, consultations, hopes and dreams. And you can be part of it as it evolves into a lively community.
Our first residents at Googong will be people who share our sense of excitement at creating something new. This self-contained township will eventually have around 5,550 homes, as well as schools, parks, shops and businesses – everything you’d expect to find in a thriving town. Googong is located near the Googong Dam on Old Cooma Road in New South Wales, just 16km from Parliament House Canberra and 4km south-east of Jerrabomberra.
