Your Life At Googong

Your Neighbourhood

There will eventually be a number of distinct neighbourhoods at Googong, each based around a village centre with retail and community facilities and each with access to extensive parkland

Googong North, the first neighbourhood to take shape, nestles in a natural bowl in the landscape. Entry is from Googong Road. Club Googong and our Sales and Information Centre are located here. Our second Display Village opened on Aprasia Avenue in late May 2017 with the first fifteen homes. Eventually the display village will include twenty homes from the regions most respected builders. Construction is underway on the first shopping precinct, Googong North Village Centre, which will be the first for the township and will inclulde a supermarket, a gym, specialty retailers, child care centre, allied health services, community centre, cafe and bar. The Village Centre is due to open in late 2017.
As a resident, you’ll feel like part of a community right from the start. Club Googong – which contains Yellow Belly Café, an indoor pool, small gym and the Googong Sales and Information Centre – is already open for you to enjoy. Plus there’s local sporting grounds Rockley Oval and Duncan Fields, as well as one (and soon to be two) dog parks. The Anglican School Googong takes students from Early Learning to year four, and will take students in year seven from 2018. Community and sporting groups are well established, and there are significant events on the calendar year for you to enjoy, including our Halloween event, Boogong, and our music festival, Googfest. There's also eight playgrounds - including an all abilities playground - to keep the kids active and outdoors.
The first lots made available at Googong have all been in Googong North and range from around 330m2 to 1050m2 (average 579m2), to suit a range of housing types. There are Design Guidelines in place to ensure that, as the neighbourhood grows, the quality of housing and the pleasing aspects of the streetscapes are retained.
Or if it’s a low-maintenance lifestyle you’re looking for at Googong, our stylish terrace homes are close to the action and will let you make the most of your time in the township. Eventually the town centre will also include apartments.
To keep up to date with release dates for land in our first neighbourhood, make sure you register your details on our mailing list. We’ll be in touch in advance of each land release, and we’ll keep you advised of events and activities throughout the year. It's also worthwhile following us on our Facebook page (facebook/googongtownship)

The first residents at Googong are people who share our sense of excitement at creating something new. Already, over 3,000 people have committed to becoming part of this exciting new community.
By getting involved in the early stages, you have the potential to maximise your investment over time. Our early land releases are particularly well priced in relation to the regional market. It’s one way we can reward you for becoming a foundation member of the Googong community.
